TICS is a custom application developed by MTCSC to simplify the tasks of property management at facilities supporting government customers. It is a web-based application using the .Net framework with a SQL Server 2000 database.
The TICS system provides the capability to create Purchase Orders and process them for approval through a streamlined workflow. Users may receive item requests via a Purchase Order or various other methods.
Using TICS, users can manage inventory items by location and stocking level:
- Inventory items may be edited, leased, moved and serialized.
- Users may create a shipping request and process for approval through a workflow.
- Item history and inventory activity is maintained and available via the user interface.
- Users may also receive a shipped inventory item back into the system.
- Reports are generated utilizing SQL Reporting Services.
